Virginia is an Australian registered Psychologist (AHPRA, MAPS) with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology both gained from La Trobe University, Melbourne.  All of her work abides by a strict code of ethics set by the Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Virginia commenced her career in Health Promotion and Awareness with the Cancer Council of Victoria.  Following this, she moved to recruitment consulting with a national branded business (now Randstad) and worked as HR Manager for this firm focusing on establishing offices in Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.  After 5 years, she moved to a Consulting Psychologist position with leading global organisational psychology firm PDI Ninth House/Korn Ferry, to specialize in organisational psychology and assessment.  After being promoted to a Senior Psychologist role, she gained broad industry experience managing assessment and development programs for a range of clients.

In 2002, Virginia established her own organisational psychology practice undertaking psychological assessments across many disciplines and levels; from individual contributor, emerging manager, management level, to comprehensive leader profiling.

In 2005, when Virginia relocated to Sydney, she joined forces with a Neuroscience and Psychology practice there and worked as an Executive Coach for Zurich Financial Services Australia’s Leadership Development Program working with the company’s top 100 leaders.  She was also involved in the Zurich Academy providing coaching to the company’s leading insurance brokers and financial advisors.  She also worked with Parsons Brinckerhoff Leadership Development Program, which was designed to help the company’s top 100 leaders create a culture to embrace significant change and challenges.

From 2008 to 2014, Virginia was the Psychologist at SHK, conducting fully proctored and customised assessments at executive level, management level and individual contributor level. Virginia was also a Board Director at SHK.

Virginia is an avid reader in the psychology field, with a special interest in neuropsychology and neuroscience and its applications at work.  She reviews research and reads books in the neuropsychology and neuroscience area before they become mainstream and incorporates her knowledge into providing greater insight when interpreting ability and personality assessments.
