How Virginia works

The personal impact. The professional context.

The work is both psychological and practical. Priorities are shaped around what you are facing, how it is affecting you and the support you need.

Psychological support

Make room for what this is doing to you.

Explore distress, uncertainty and loss of confidence, with attention to everyday functioning.

Organisational perspective

Understand the context around the person.

Consider working relationships, organisational pressures and the dynamics of an ongoing process alongside your own experience.

Judgement under pressure

Create space to consider your response.

Work on maintaining perspective and sound judgement when emotions are strong and decisions feel consequential.

What comes next

Support through uncertainty and transition.

The focus may be returning to work, rebuilding relationships, navigating an ongoing process or preparing for a transition.

A clearer first step.

Who is workplace support for?

Individuals facing complex or sensitive workplace situations, including stand-downs, investigations, conflict, bullying, significant organisational change or career uncertainty. Virginia’s experience spans employees at different levels, including senior roles.

Does the workplace issue need to be resolved first?

No. Support can focus on managing distress, maintaining perspective and day-to-day functioning while a process is ongoing, and considering what comes next.

Is this legal advice or workplace investigation?

The service described here is psychological support for the individual. It does not replace independent employment or legal advice, or determine the outcome of an organisational process.

Can I still see Virginia for adult therapy?

Yes. Virginia also works with adults in clinical settings. Please contact her to discuss the appropriate pathway to either MVS or NeuroCare, or her private practice.

What should I include in an initial enquiry?

Keep it brief and general: the type of support you are seeking and a request to discuss suitability. Ask how to share sensitive information securely before sending health details or workplace documents.
